Internships

Arup offers paid internships that create a platform for professional growth and development. Our internships typically begin in May/June and are 10-12 weeks in length. Our interns work side by side with some of our most talented engineers and are given the opportunity to contribute to the success of real projects.

Some job responsibilities include:

• Working on defined tasks under close supervision of a senior engineer
• Assisting in design and analysis
• Assisting with preparing and reviewing drawings detailing the design
• Participating in internal meetings to coordinate work with other team members

The ideal candidate will have the following characteristics:

• Enrollment as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student in an accredited degree engineering program related to the internship being pursued
• A minimum of two upper division courses within the discipline related to the internship position
• A solid academic standing with a GPA = 3.0 or above
• Good communication skills essential for team-based working
• Excellent planning and organizational skills required for our fast-paced environment
• Highly motivated, proactive and willing to take on new challenges

Eligible interns may be considered for full-time opportunities with Arup upon graduation.
